Sophia Phokaina, Konstantinos Skleros?uwife was the daughter of Leon Phokas the Kouropalates (Skylitzes, p. 294), and so, the granddaughter of Bardas Phokas and of a Maleina (Vie de saint Michel Maleinos, p. 551).
This one was the sister of Michael (Manouel) Maleinos, and so the daughter of Eudokimos and Anastaso, daughter of Adralestos and of a woman described as ?tof imperial blood ... and kindred (syngeneia) of emperor Romanos?u (i.e. Romanos I Lekapenos, father-in-law of Konstantinos VII) : Vie de saint Michel Maleinos, éd.
